Rusev Apologizes For Not Representing The ‘World’ In The WWE World Cup

After a shockingly quick loss to The Miz at SmackDown 1000, everyone’s favorite Bulgarian, Rusev, took to Twitter to apologize to the world. We’re guessing he took a quick look at the other competitors already announced for the WWE World Cup and noticed a certain red, white and blue theme going on.

This was his chance to make the WWE World Cup and little more inclusive to the actual world but, thanks to Aiden English, it was not to be. Instead, his former tag team partner and friend caused a distraction which led to a quick roll-up finish that saw The Miz advance.

Never mind, Rusev. At least now you’re not in any danger of getting squashed by a tired legend in Saudi Arabia again. That said, who knows who else the Saudi government will dig up to get some nostalgic crowd pops. Hulk Hogan will probably bury him with a leg drop now.

Will we finally see Rusev get his revenge on Aiden English at WWE Crown Jewel? Or will the ‘Bulgarian Brute’ simply be fed to an Attitude Era icon? Let us know in the comments.
