Returning WWE star Rusev/Miro has been confirmed for an event during WrestleMania 41 week, following his reported re-signing with WWE.
It was previously reported that Miro – who wrestled for WWE as Rusev – has signed with the company, after being spotted at WWE HQ in Stamford, CT on April 2.
Amid speculation about Rusev’s WWE return, Miro has been confirmed for a pre-WrestleMania 41 event which isn’t hosted by WWE.
Miro will be making ‘special guest appearances’ for KnokX Pro Entertainment & Academy, a promotion founded by Rikishi and Reno Anoa’i which will be visiting Las Vegas for WWE WrestleMania 41 Week.
As is advertised on the poster – which you can view below – Miro will be making appearances over the course of the event, which will span from April 16-18, ahead of WrestleMania on April 19 and 20.
KnokX Pro is notably a WWE ID program partner. The company usually operates out of southern California.
‘Rusev’ last wrestled for WWE in February 2020, prior to his release that April.
‘Miro’ joined AEW in September 2020, and remained with the company up until his departure in February.
