It appears Rusev has been pulled from the Tuwaiq Mountain Trophy match this Thursday at Super ShowDown. In a tweet earlier tonight, WWE tagged 6 competitors in the match.
They tagged Erick Rowan, AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley, Andrade, R-Truth, and Rey Mysterio. Mysterio was not in the match previously.

There is no word as to why Rusev is not in the match, but he has been absent from TV. Rumors are circulating that because he hasn’t re-signed with the company they are keeping him off television.
This could be more of the same. If Rusev doesn’t sign on again, he certainly will have lots of suitors.
During Raw tonight, there was a very, very loud Rusev Day chant during a Lana and Lashley segment.
SPEAR spells the end for @RonKillings.

Of course, they did not address this during the show. It’s very possible WWE tagged the wrong person, but given there has been no correction made, it sure seems like WWE is giving Rusev the silent treatment.
In spite of trying to not allow Rusev day to get over, it’s happening anyway. Now, it appears WWE has no plans to celebrate Rusev day anymore.
