If you look at a list of under-utilised stars on WWE’s roster, you don’t get more poorly booked than Rusev.
Considering that he had a one-year undefeated streak upon debuting (obviously ended by John Cena), the last few years have been missed opportunity after missed opportunity.
The last couple of months have seen him end his Rusev Day partnership with Aiden English (what happened to him?) and lose to Shinsuke Nakamura in a Crown Jewel pre-show match for the United States Championship.
Well, it now seems that his frustration has reached a peak, something he has made clear with his latest tweets:
Interesting i beat Bryan and Miz and yet they are captains and i can’t even make the roster. NOT EVEN QUALIFYING MATCH!!!

This is of course in reference to his lack of place on the men’s Survivor Series squad. In fact, he’s probably not going to feature on the card at all.
So, what’s the solution? Well, maybe he also has an idea for that:

Rusev was an exceptional member of the NXT roster during his time in developmental, and given that you’re generally given a chance to prove yourself if you have talent, it’s hardly surprising he’s keen on a move back.
