Rusev WWE Contract Length & Roster Status Confirmed WWE

An update has emerged on Rusev following his WWE TV return, with his contract length and roster status confirmed.

Following reports that Rusev had put pen to paper for a comeback, the Bulgarian star made a surprise appearance on the April 21 Raw after WrestleMania 41 show, interrupting The New Day and Alpha Academy and laying out Otis and Akira Tozawa.

Following his return, details have emerged on Rusev’s future with WWE.

Per Deadline, Rusev – real name Miro Barnyashev – has signed a two-year deal with WWE. This report also notes that this deal, as well as his wife CJ Perry’s (Lana’s) recent Legends Deal were negotiated by Paradigm Talent Agency.

WWE.com has officially confirmed Rusev’s roster status, listing him as a WWE Raw star on the official roster page.

Rusev hasn’t wrestled for WWE since the February 17, 2020 Raw episode, during which he teamed with Humberto Carrillo in a losing effort against Angel (Garza) & Bobby Lashley.

this was ahead of the company letting him go that April.

The Bulgarian star most recently wrestled at the February 21 QPW Super Slam III event, facing Alberto Del Rio in his first match since December 2023.
