RUSH has revealed that his ROH contract expires in January 2022, and that he’s open to listening to all offers when it does.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, the former ROH World Champion stated that he hasn’t yet talked about a contract renewal with the promotion.
Noting that he enjoys a challenge, RUSH said:
“My contract expires in January. So far, we have not talked about a contract renewal. I am very grateful to ROH. I am also a man of challenges and goals, and I’m open to listening to everyone.”
RUSH’s most recent match was a pre-taped 8-man bout that aired on the September 3 edition of ROH. At Glory By Honor on August 21, RUSH suffered a knee injury which required surgery.
ROH previously announced that the star will be out of action for the rest of 2021. As RUSH’s cotract expires early next year, he could already be a free agent by the time he’s ready to return to action.
