Ryback is what one might call opinionated. At least he’s never been shy of sharing his thoughts about the wrestling industry and his former co-workers on his The Big Guy podcast. Ryback has got some flak for talking smack way back, but it’s never stopped him. This time around he’s got the ‘Beast Incarnate’ in his sights.
Ryback discussed Brock’s current position and his future with the UFC. Ryback gave credit where it was due stating Brock was in an excellent position as a part-timer in both companies yet making more than anyone. Ryback went on to speculate over Brock’s chances against Daniel Cormier.
While he says Cormier is an Olympic caliber wrestler, he thinks Brock may have him on size and strength. His reasoning being that Brock will cut weight to make the heavyweight division while Cormier, who’s fought as a light heavyweight, will have to come up. However, he doesn’t say it’s a sure thing and Brock has a more difficult time when he can’t impose his will physically on his opponent.
When talking about Brock as the WWE Universal Champion, Ryback said it would be an awesome PR move for the WWE to have him hold both titles at once. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait that long for a new champ, but it would be interesting to see.
What do you make of this Brock’s chances against DC? Would you like to see him hold both titles at once? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter here. You can also join us on Discord to chat with Oli, Luke, the magazine team, the website writers and each other here!
