Wrestling Veteran Teases In-Ring Return After Shock AEW Appearance AEW

Former ECW World Champion Sabu has commented on the possibility of an in-ring return following his AEW debut.

Sabu made an appearance on the May 24 edition of Dynamite, during the contract signing for Chris Jericho and Adam Cole’s Double or Nothing match.

The Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal star will be a special enforcer for this weekend’s unsanctioned match.

Sabu has now reacted to a Twitter conversation speculating about his in-ring status, with one fan noting that they hope for a Sabu/Moxley confrontation, and another noting that he cannot wrestle due to back injuries.

The wrestling veteran has indicated that he’d be willing to return to the ring for the right paycheck, tweeting:

S**ttttt .if the price is right ..dont count me out yet..🧞‍♀️🐪

Sabu announced his retirement from wrestling in November 2021, noting that he regretted wrestling his last match earlier that year because at the time he was recovering from an issue with his back.

He had a ‘serious medical emergency’ in early April, and thanked fans for the well wishes following the health scare.
