There has been an update on Samantha Irvin potentially debuting in AEW following her sudden WWE departure on Monday.

Popular WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin shocked many on Monday, when she announced that her time with WWE had come to an end, with Lilian Garcia subbing in to serve as her replacement.

Following her departure, many had speculated that Irvin could be set to join AEW alongside her fiancée Ricochet, but Ricochet took to Twitter to let people know she wasn’t headed to the company.

In an update on Samantha potentially joining AEW from PWInsider, Mike Johnson notes that he was told that she is not headed to AEW, and won’t be working in the pro wrestling space for a long time, unless she opts to return to WWE down the line.
