Top Star Comments On Trinity Fatu Signing With IMPACT Wrestling IMPACT Wrestling

A top star has commented on Trinity signing with IMPACT Wrestling.

After walking out of WWE Raw in May 2022, Trinity Fatu, formerly known as Naomi in WWE, made her debut for IMPACT Wrestling on the May 4 episode.

Trinity wasted no time in setting her intentions to go after the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship before being confronted by the current champion Deonna Purrazzo.

Speaking with Tru Heel Heat Wrestling, Sami Callihan was asked about his thoughts on Trinity signing with the promotion and what it means for the Knockouts division.

He answered:

“It’s huge, like it’s huge not only for the Knockouts division, I think it’s also huge for Trinity. You look at every wrestling company around the planet right now, I would put our Knockouts division on par, if not better than every division on the planet right now.”

“If I was a female wrestler, if I was a Knockouts wrestler, I would want to wrestle at IMPACT Wrestling. Our girls main event and have epic matches.”

“You look at a girl like Deonna Purrazzo, any gender, one of the best technical wrestlers on the planet. Like having Trinity now add as a piece to that, that’s only gonna make that division better.”

Callihan continued on to talk about the sky being the limit for Trinity on the IMPACT roster, saying:

“I think it’s also gonna give someone like Trinity, who’s been successful in other places, a chance to like really show what she’s even capable of, even more so.”

“Like the handcuffs are off, like IMPACT Wrestling, I hate to use the term ‘the sky’s limit,’ but the sky is 100% the limit and getting the chance to have her on IMPACT Wrestling, it’s huge for us.”

“I think it’s an awesome deal and I, for one, am extremely excited to see what she can accomplish because she’s another world class athlete. And she’s another one that’s that good and now seeing matches that we never seen before with her is gonna be something extremely special for the wrestling world.”

As previously reported, Trinity is set to compete in an “open contract” challenge at Under Siege on May 26.
