Sami Zayn Names AEW Stars He Wants To Face

WWE star Sami Zayn named several AEW stars he’d like to face when asked about potential dream opponents.

Sami Zayn is one of the most talked-about wrestlers in the world, with fans and wrestlers alike praising the star for his role in Roman Reigns’ Bloodline faction.

In an interview with Peter Rosenberg, Zayn was asked if there are any names from any other promotion he’d be interested in facing.

Acknowledging MJF and Dante Martin as dream opponents, Zayn said:

“I do see some guys out there. MJF pops to mind — I think he’s very talented.

“There’s a kid in AEW called Dante Martin who’s just, like, a really great high flyer and it kind of reminds me of the matches I would have on the independents with guys who are really good high flyers.

“Just strictly based on in-ring, I think, just if we were working an indie in front of 300 people.”

The Honorary Uce went on to admit that he misses working with AEW EVP Kenny Omega.

Zayn’s now-former friend Kevin Owens recently discussed the possibility of a return to the independent scene under the Triple H regime.
