The usually pesky Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn has broken character to call a fellow member of the SmackDown roster the single “best in-ring performer of our generation” on social media this weekend.
On this week’s show, Sami Zayn managed to defeat Daniel Bryan, and the Intercontinental Champion has since taken to Twitter to call Bryan the greatest performer of this current generation:
As much as I run my mouth, it is always an absolute privilege to be able to get in the ring with Daniel Bryan. You never know if or when it might happen again. He is, in my opinion, the best in ring performer of our generation. Still it should be noted, I won the match.
Some have speculated that Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn are going to continue their feud, but following this week’s show, it actually seems more likely that Zayn feuds with Big E as we head into TLC as the pair had a backstage segment together.
