There is no place for any kind of discrimination in wrestling, or in fact in any sport, but unfortunately that memo wasn’t sent out to everyone, including a fan who was involved in an altercation with Sami Zayn at a WWE Live Event this past weekend.
As Sami made his way to the ring, a fan allegedly called him a “Canadian F*****t” several times, which led to the below altercation between Zayn and the fan.
Zayn called the fan both a “homophobic moron” and a “homophobic dick” before security intervened.

According to the person who filmed the incident, the fan was subsequently removed from the arena.

Hopefully this is a lesson to anyone with these views that they will not be tolerated, and that homophobic slurs are completely unacceptable.
