Sami Zayn Officially Crowned ‘Honorary Uce’ To Open SmackDown WWE

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns made his return to WWE SmackDown on tonight’s September 23 episode of the show from Salt Lake City, for the first time since Clash at the Castle.

Roman and the Bloodline opened up tonight’s show, where Heyman spoke about Roman’s victory over Drew McIntyre, before he then began talking about Solo Sikoa. Heyman said that Solo was sent to help Roman because someone had to stop the conspiracies against Roman Reigns.

Heyman then said that Solo acting as Roman’s enforcer allows the Usos to focus on immortality. The Usos then hyped up tonight’s main event against the Brawling Brutes, before Roman took the mic from Jey.

Roman then called out Solo, telling him that he answers to him, and asked him to acknowledge him, and Solo obliged. He and Roman hugged as his music played, before Sami Zayn cut the music off.

Sami said that, while he’s not technically blood, he wants to show his gratitude for the Bloodline taking him in, and publicly acknowledge the Tribal Chief. Roman then asked Sami why he’s talking at all, and asked him to take the Bloodline shirt off. Jey then ripped the shirt off Sami, before Roman said that he doesn’t want to see him wear a Bloodline shirt ever again, because he got him his own.

Sami then put on a new shirt that said ‘SZ: Honorary Uce’, before he and Roman hugged and he acknowledged his Tribal Chief.
