Last month, it was confirmed that Kevin Owens had re-signed with WWE, with his contract initially set to expire in January 2022. This led to backstage chatter that Sami Zayn had also re-signed with the company.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has now confirmed that Zayn has indeed re-signed with the company, and is locked down for several more years.
One person that spoke to Fightul around that time said that Zayn was ‘kind of private’ about the negotiations, but WWE made it clear they wanted to retain his services.
No length on Zayn’s contract has been confirmed as of yet.
