Sami Zayn Hilariously Responds To Jim Cornette’s Praise

WWE star Sami Zayn has hilariously reacted to recent praise from Jim Cornette.

Jim Cornette has previously criticised Zayn’s work, notably discussing his dislike for the El Generico gimmick.

In an interesting turn of events, Cornette took some time in a recent edition of Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru, to praise Zayn’s current run with the Bloodline faction.

Cornette stated that Zayn is currently his favourite person to watch on TV, noting:

“Oh, I’ve been feeling Ucey.

“Let me tell you something. I never thought that I would say this. But I think now Sami Zayn is my favorite person to watch on television.

“El Generico certainly wasn’t but Sami Zayn is incredible. And this whole thing with The Bloodline and The Usos and Uceys.”

Zayn took to Twitter to respond to Cornette’s comments, replying:

“My…dawg?”

Zayn has grown in popularity during his stint with the Bloodline, so much so that WWE has put previous plans for Zayn’s post-Bloodline story ‘on pause‘

The faction was victorious at WWE Crown Jewel, with The Usos defeating the Brawling Brutes to retain their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, and Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Logan Paul.
