Sami Zayn Reveals Who Actually Came Up With Handcuff Spots At Clash Of Champions

WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn has revealed who actually came up with the idea for him to use handcuffs at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view.

Zayn first used the cuffs to attack Jeff Hardy’s ear to a ladder, and then to impair AJ Styles which allowed Zayn to win the ladder match and the title.

Speaking with Metro, Zayn revealed who actually came up with it, saying:

“I wish I could take all the credit for that, but actually Jamie Noble’s a real genius. He doesn’t get the credit he deserves.”

Noble has been a producer for WWE for a number of years now, and has been influential in several big matches including Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania.

Sami Zayn won the ladder match at the September 27 Clash of Champions to begin his second reign with the IC Title after his first was cut short due to him not travelling for several months during the COVID-19 pandemic.
