Sami Zayn Reveals Chant He Wishes Caught On With WWE US Fans WWE

Sami Zayn has revealed a chant he wishes WWE crowds in the US did, after hearing it at an international premium live event.

Europe has established a reputation for having some of WWE’s loudest crowds, with the UK specifically known for inventing unique chants that aren’t often heard in the US.

Sami Zayn has taken to Twitter to reveal that he wishes a certain chant from WWE Clash At The Castle 2024 caught on with crowds in America.

Zayn shared a clip from his June 15, 2024 match against Chad Gable, during which the Glasgow, Scotland crowd chanted for Sami Zayn in the tune of the chorus of “Give It Up” by KC & The Sunshine Band.

The former Intercontinental Champion captioned his post:

One year ago today.

I really wish this chant had caught on with American crowds as well.

Zayn ultimately won this match, pinning Gable to retain the Intercontinental Title. He ultimately lost this championship to Bron Breakker at SummerSlam 2024.

Sami Zayn’s most recent match saw him defeat Bron Breakker, Penta and current IC Champion Dominik Mysterio in their King of the Ring first round four-way match on the June 9 Raw episode.
