Heat Between Sammy Guevara And Andrade El Idolo? AEW

UPDATE: Andrade El Idolo has now responded to Guevara’s tweet, calling out the former TNT Champion. More at this link

Is there backstage heat between Andrade El Idolo and Sammy Guevara?

Sammy Guevara seemed to choose violence this evening, hopping on to Twitter to write:

“You are a jobber. A favor hire. Be grateful bitch.”

After the jab, Twitter went wild attempting to figure out who Sammy Guevara was taking shots at and fans have theorised that it potentially correlates with a new interview mentioning Guevara’s name.

Andrade El Idolo was doing an interview in which he dished on his upcoming match on AEW Rampage against 10 whereby if he loses, he has to leave AEW.

During the interview, several interesting topics seemed to arise but one that was notable was referencing a backstage incident with Sammy Guevara.

El Idolo commenting that Sammy Guevara had complained backstage that Andrade hits too hard, Andrade noted that Sheamus hits hard and no one complains.

Andrade shared that the duo settled their issue with words and nothing came of it.

It’s worth pointing out that there’s no further evidence that Guevara’s tweet was aimed at Andrade other than fans’ speculation based on Andrade’s comments in the aforementioned interview, so don’t take this as any kind of confirmation.

Elsewhere in the interview, El Idolo also commented on how the gossip in AEW does disturb him as he felt like some people in AEW have felt like he was stuck up or had an ego because he prefers to show up to the venue, eat, work and leave.

Andrade El Idolo may or may not be taking part in his last AEW match, this Friday on AEW Rampage.
