AEW has crowned their interim TNT Champion on tonight’s (January 8) AEW Battle of the Belts show.
Current TNT Champion Cody Rhodes was unable to take part on the show due to COVID-19 exposure, leading to Dustin Rhodes filling in for him in the match against Sammy Guevara.
Guevara went on to win the match, crowning him the interim TNT Champion. Legendary promoter David Crockett presented the belt to Guevara.
