AEW Dynamite kicked off with the majorly anticipated Owen Hart Foundation Tournament men’s match between Samoa Joe and a Joker entrant.
After the Joker of the match was revealed to be “Johnny Elite,” the former John Morrison he went on to lose to Samoa Joe in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament which continued on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
After the match, Samoa Joe was attacked by Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh with some help from a pipe! While Singh held Joe back, Lethal struck him with the steel pipe in the left shoulder.
While The Best Friends and Rocky Romero run out to break up the beatdown while the ROH heels retreated.
