Samoa Joe To Make AEW Return Soon?

ROH Television Champion Samoa Joe could be set to return to AEW TV soon.

Per PWInsider, Samoa Joe has recently been busy filming for the upcoming Peacock series Twisted Metal.

Showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith has now confirmed that the filming for the first season has now wrapped, indicating that Samoa Joe is now free to return to AEW.

As of writing, it is unclear when Joe will next wrestle for the promotion.

Joe last wrestled at ROH Death Before Dishonor on July 23, defending his Television Championship against Jay Lethal.

His most recent match for AEW took place at Double or Nothing in May, when he faced Adam Cole in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament finals.

AEW is preparing for its All Out pay-per-view, so we could see Samoa Joe return to action on September 4. Check out the announced card for the upcoming event right here.
