Samoa Joe recently returned from a foot injury but is already being replaced at an upcoming Madison Square Garden house show. In fact, he is being replaced on all upcoming Raw house shows!
Fear not though, gentle reader, this isn’t one of Vince McMahon’s sudden last-minute swerves. That sensation you feel is just an aftershock from the recent Superstar Shake-up.
Samoa Joe was originally scheduled to face Roman Reigns in the main event of the upcoming Madison Square Garden WWE Live Event. However, as reported by Mike Johnson on a recent installment of PWInsider Elite Audio, those plans have now been changed. Reigns will now be facing off against the recent Raw acquisition, Jinder Mahal.

Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns are still scheduled to go one on one at this Sunday’s Backlash. After that match, Joe will be reporting full time to Smackdown Live. Now he can turn his undivided attention, and his Coquina Clutch, to the Smackdown Live locker room. That just leaves Baron Corbin to put people to sleep on Raw!
