Former WWE Performance Center coach Sarah Stock has announced that she’s preparing to return to the ring.
Stock previously wrestled for AAA and CMLL as ‘Dark Angel’, and won gold in TNA as ‘Sarita’. Stock signed on as a WWE trainer in September 2015, and remained with the company until she was furloughed in April 2020, and officially let go that September.
The former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion discussed plans for her in-ring return on her YouTube channel, noting that she will wrestle her first three matches back in Mexico. Noting that her decision to step back between the ropes came as a surprise to many, Stock said:
“I was in Tennessee last time I talked to you guys and a lot has happened since then. I’ve been traveling, I went all through Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, through the Gulf Coast and now into Florida. So a lot’s gone on but maybe the most important thing is that I have decided to get back into the ring.
“I made the decision to wrestle again and it kind of came as a surprise, you know? And will I be able to get back to, you know, presentable shape and what I see as good enough? And the answer has been ‘yes’. I can and I will.”
Sarah Stock was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery, Resisting Law Enforcement, Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication by Alcohol in October 2020, however Stock herself confirmed that all charges were dismissed except for one misdemeanor.
