Saraya Addresses Potential AEW Return Amid WWE Rumors

A former AEW star has addressed their departure from the company, amid rumors about a potential WWE return.

With Saraya announcing her AEW departure on March 26, there has been a lot of speculation about what’s next for the former WWE Divas Champion.

Speaking with Women’s Wrestling Talk, Saraya noted that Tony Khan was extremely supportive during her departure process.

Noting that the door was left open for a potential AEW return in the future, Saraya said:

“I was like, alright, time for me to bow out. Tony was amazing with it. It ended up being mutual, which is great. He was like, let’s do it. Like- that’s perfectly fine.

“He was extremely supportive about my my future endeavors and he encouraged me and the door was left open, you know, which is great.

“Yeah, it was just a lot of brainstorming on my time off where I was like, okay, now it’s time for me to bow out gracefully, I guess.”
