Saraya Discusses Changes To In-Ring Style Following Wrestling Return

AEW star Saraya has commented on her in-ring style changing following her return to the ring.

Saraya made her in-ring comeback at the November 19 Full Gear pay-per-view, defeating Britt Baker in singles action.

This marked Saraya’s first match in almost five years, after suffering a serious neck injury in December 2017.

The former ‘Paige’ had previously announced her retirement in April 2018, but was cleared to return in late October 2022.

During a Twitch stream, Saraya revealed that she has to be more thoughtful about her moveset nowadays, noting:

“Yes, I do actually, I have to be more careful. I have to be more selective with what moves I can take. But, luckily the producer that we have at AEW, BJ, BJ Whitmer, he also has the same injury as me.”

Saraya wrestled her second AEW match on the January 11 edition of Dynamite, teaming with Toni Storm to face Britt Baker & AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter.

The former WWE Divas Champion recently noted that she’d love to wrestle some stars from the AEW men’s division.
