Saraya Says WWE Hall Of Famer Inspired Her Full Gear Attire

AEW star Saraya has revealed that WWE Hall of Famer Chyna provided the inspiration for her attire at AEW Full Gear 2022.

Saraya, who wrestled under the name Paige during her time with WWE, had her first wrestling match in almost five years this past Saturday (November 19), facing Britt Baker in a winning effort.

Saraya wasn’t the only familiar piece of wrestling history in the ring during her match, as she revealed on Twitter that her gear was inspired by former DX member and WWE legend Chyna.

A fan responded to a tweet by Saraya in which the former Paige showed off her Full Gear Attire, saying it reminded them of that formerly worn by the eighth wonder of the world.

Saraya responded, saying “I actually used her gear as inspo!!”

Saraya’s previous match took place at a WWE house show on December 27, 2017, where a botched kick from Sasha Banks forced her to put her in-ring career on pause for several years.

Despite not being able to wrestle, Saraya remained contracted to WWE until leaving the company in June of this year.

Chyna unfortunately passed away in 2016.

She was later posthumously inducted into the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame along with the rest of her former DX stablemates.
