Saraya Comments On Mercedes Mone Potentially Debuting On AEW Dynamite

AEW star Saraya has given her perspective on the possibility of NJPW star Mercedes Mone appearing on an episode of AEW Dynamite.

Mone – formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE – recently made her debut for New Japan Pro Wrestling after months of speculation about her contract status with former employer WWE.

Mone appeared at the company’s Wrestle Kingdom 17  event to challenge current IWGP Women’s Champion KAIRI following the latter’s successful defence of her title.

Prior to her NJPW debut, speculation abounded that the former Boss would appear as Saraya’s mystery tag team partner on tomorrow’s (January 11) edition of AEW Dynamite.

In an interview with DJ Whoo Kid, the former Paige was asked about the possibility of Mone making an appearance on the show:

“I don’t know, I wish I knew that.

“Even me to my managers constantly asking and I’m just like, ‘I have no idea’ and I asked Tony Khan. I’m like, ‘what’s the deal?'”

As of now, Saraya’s partner is confirmed to be former AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm.

The two will take on the team of current AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker.
