Saraya Discusses Plans For New Project AEW

AEW star Saraya has provided an update on her plans for publishing a book telling her life story.

Saraya has had an eventful career, achieving success with WWE before returning to the ring in AEW.

On Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Saraya noted that she isn’t sure whether to write just one book, or a series.

Discussing her plans, Saraya said:

“I don’t know the extent of which I’m gonna go with the book timeline-wise. I’m like, ‘Do I tell up until this point?

“Do I make it like a few different books because I’ve lived so many lives and every story needs its own personal book?’ I’m like, ‘Or, do I just go all out and do this one book?'”

“I’m lucky enough to have that opportunity where I could go to Dwayne (Johnson), or I could just go to the Bellas or AJ Lee or just people that were influential in my life,”

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was notably one of the producers for the 2019 ‘Fighting With My Family’ movie based on Saraya’s journey to WWE.

The film ended with Saraya winning the Divas Championship from AJ Lee in her WWE Raw debut in April 2014.

After growing up surrounded by wrestling, Saraya moved from the UK to the US after signing with WWE in 2011. She wrestled for the company until December 2017, before announcing her retirement due to a serious neck injury in April 2018.

Saraya left WWE in July after her contract expired. She made her debut for AEW in September at the Dynamite: Grand Slam special.

The popular star was medically cleared for an in-ring return on October 31.

She defeated Britt Baker at the November 19 Full Gear pay-per-view in her first match in almost five years.
