WWE SmackDown star Sasha Banks is set to be featured in the opening segment of the 2022 College Football Playoff National Title game on ESPN, per Joe Otterson of Variety.
The segment features Sasha as a futuristic superhero, marking the beginning of the National Championship game using the final piece of confetti from last year’s game in Miami.
On the appearance, Sasha said:
“It’s been such an honor, I feel like everybody who has been working on the set, and the whole team have been so incredible… to walk in and to just feel so welcome, and just to see everything, and I was just like, it was amazing. I love the outfit, I love the concept, and it just fit me so well.”
WWE announced this weekend that Sasha Banks suffered a foot injury at a recent WWE live event, as it set to miss 6-8 weeks of action.
