Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss have both been absent from in-ring competition since September with injuries, and coincidentally, they both made their in-ring returns at yesterday’s house show in Bangor, Maine.
The ‘Goddess’ was reportedly suffering from numbness in her arm after her Raw Women’s Championship match against Ronda Rousey at Hell in a Cell, but has appeared on TV for the past couple of weeks in a non-wrestling capacity to promote her upcoming Evolution match, in which she and Mickie James will take on Lita and Trish Stratus in tag team action.
There have, however, been mixed reports regarding Banks’ layoff. It was initially believed she was out with a back issue, but it was later rumored that she was actually given time off to recuperate mentally rather than physically. The four-time Raw Women’s Champion is currently not scheduled for a match at Evolution. Surely they can’t just chuck her in the Battle Royal, can they?

In their returns, the ‘Boss’ teamed with Bayley and Dana Brooke to defeat the Riott Squad, whereas Bliss tagged with Mickie James in a loss to Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax.
Both Bliss and Banks were pulled from the second season of the Mixed Match Challenge, being replaced by Ember Moon and Mickie James respectively.
