Sasha Banks: I’m Back And Better Than Ever

Sasha Banks disappeared from WWE after WrestleMania.  Rumors of temper tantrums, trips to Japan, and even joining AEW came up almost daily about the former WWE champion.  So what was Sasha doing all those months away?  She appeared on WFNZ Sports Radio to discuss.

“I’ve been doing this for seven years straight, no breaks.  People need to step back and re-evaluate their lives, take care of their souls, their minds.”

Sasha appeared a few weeks ago on WWE Television attacking Becky Lynch and joining forces with a fresh, heel Bayley.  How does she feel now that she’s back as a regular on WWE television?

“I’m back, I’m better than ever, and I got myself a championship match on Sunday so, I think I did quite well for myself, right? Everybody’s talking about Sasha Banks and that’s what I was born to do. I’m a star, I’m a main eventer, I’m a headliner. I’m making money and I’m making moves. Period.”

It’s hard to argue her point of view. Lots of folks are picking her to win on Sunday at Clash of Champions over Becky Lynch.  However, it remains to be seen if she is one of the few WWE follow through on after returns from hiatus.  We’ll find out a lot on Sunday.
