Sasha Banks and Naomi have not appeared on WWE television since they walked out ahead of the May 16 episode of Raw due to creative frustrations surrounding the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Since then, there has been a whole regime change in the company following the retirement of Vince McMahon, with many speculating the pair could make a return to the company under the new Triple H led regime.
Thus far, that has yet to happen, and Sasha Banks and Naomi have been taking part in projects outside of the company, including Sasha recently taking part in a modelling show, sporting a new look hair colour.
Nevertheless, a potential return to WWE, or wrestling in general, for the duo is still a topic of conversation, and appears to still be something on the mind of Sasha herself.
Sasha took to her Instagram story last night, sharing a very interesting fan made match graphic for a match between her and Stardom’s KAIRI (the former Kairi Sane in WWE) for the IWGP Women’s Championship.
Sasha captioned the photo with a South Park sticker saying ‘it’s so very interesting’. KAIRI herself shared the image to Twitter earlier today, reacting to the tease from the former Women’s Champion.
KAIRI is a part of the tournament to crown the inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion, and will face off against Jazzy Gabbert in the semi-final of the tournament.
