A blast from the past at tonight’s WWE Backlash as Savio Vega made a surprise appearance in a backstage segment.
With Rey Mysterio introducing the Puerto Rican Professional Wrestling legend to Bad Bunny, the crowd went wild to see the former WWE star.
For WWE fans, they may remember Savio Vega for an alliance with Razor Ramon and subsequent singles run in the nineties as well as being a member of the Nation of Domination.
While he was a member of the Nation of Domination, he may be most well known to WWE fans for being one of the first big feuds of The Rock who at the time was known as Rocky Maivia (and before he joined the Nation!)
After being ousted from the faction, he went on to found his own as Los Boricua, with other wrestlers of Puerto Rican heritage.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Backlash, the opening bout saw a big match between Bianca Belair and IYO SKY which you can read more about by clicking here.
