Scott Hall Feuding With Family Of Former WWF Great

Ah Twitter. A wonderful medium for sharing everything from inane babble to images of your neighbour’s cat. What would we do without it?

For wrestlers it’s become a place to carry on feuds from TV, and for Shane McMahon, it’s a place to announce thrilling matches for SmackDown and PPVs.

But for one WWE Hall of Famer, Twitter has become the place to start one of the most random feuds ever. He is currently in a war of words with the late great Davey Boy Smith, AKA the British Bulldog, and no-one really seems to know why.

A tweet sent out by @DamienDarling on March 8 which said: “Lex Luger & Davey Boy Smith were everyone a kid from the 90s wanted as a tag team,” was seen by the former member of the NWO, who decided that ,”You mean failed singles wrestlers?” was an intelligent thing to say.

Hall has since, not surprisingly, received a stinking heap of backlash from Davey Boy’s family, and you would assume that he rather regrets his interesting choice of words.

And it didn’t stop there.

Davey Boy’s former wife, Diana, also responded to Hall’s incendiary tweet, by saying:

Perhaps this is all a storm in a teacup, but Hall is sure to think again before tweeting something so petty, and in Davey Boy’s case, completely untrue.

I did notice however, that no-one is sticking up for Lex Luger. Funny that.
