Scrapped Plans For WWE Raw January 9 Revealed WWE

Details on scrapped plans for this week’s (January 9) edition of WWE Monday Night Raw have been revealed.

Monday’s show (which feels years ago now, with all the recent WWE news) was pretty eventful, with battle lines drawn between Judgment Day and the Bloodline.

In the main event of the show, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio defeated Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford to win the Tag Team Turmoil bout.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), at one point there were plans for Akira Tozawa to accompany the Street Profits to the ring.

Akira Tozawa was in action during that night’s Main Event taping, taking on Odyssey Jones. The bout was reportedly produced by Adam Pearce.

The Usos and the Bloodline had a staredown to end the show, following Priest and Mysterio’s victory, despite Adam Pearce escorting Jimmy and Jey from the building ahead of Solo Sikoa’s match with Dolph Ziggler earlier in the night.

Fightful notes that The Usos were also originally going to be at ringside for Sikoa’s match.
