Scrapped SmackDown Plans For Liv Morgan & Tegan Nox WWE

Scrapped SmackDown plans for Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox have been revealed.

On the February 24 edition of WWE SmackDown, Shayna Baszler defeated Natalya with Ronda Rousey and Tegan Nox in the respective corners of the stars.

After the match, Rousey and Baszler looked to further assault Nattie until Nox made the save. This sets up a tag team bout with all four women on next Friday’s show.

However, this wasn’t the original plans for Tegan Nox on the program.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Nox was originally planned to sell a knee injury backstage on the show.

There was a segment with Natalya being checked on by the doctor with Adam Pearce, which Tegan interrupted to say she would have Nattie’s back in her match against Shayna Baszler.

Another female star who was originally planned to be on Friday’s show was Liv Morgan.

The report notes that Morgan was scheduled for a backstage segment as of a few hours before the show went live. WWE did post an interview with Liv on YouTube following the show.

The company also announced that the former SmackDown Women’s Champion will face The Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley on next Friday, March 3 episode.

As previously reported, Liv Morgan has aspirations for different goals in the acting field.
