Scrapped plans for Travis Scott’s WWE in-ring debut have been revealed, courtesy of Raw star Logan Paul.
After making major appearances for WWE alongside The Rock at Elimination Chamber and during John Cena and Cody Rhodes’ main event match at WrestleMania 41 Night Two, it appeared as if Travis Scott was poised to become the latest celebrity name to crossover into the ring for a WWE match.
However, this never came to fruition and Scott has yet to appear on WWE TV since WrestleMania 41, with it being reported that Scott and WWE had a “full falling out”.
Speaking about Scott during the latest episode of Impaulsive, Logan Paul revealed that he was supposed to team with the rapper in his first WWE match along with one other unnamed star, but the plans were scrapped:
“I was very excited obviously for him to enter the WWE. We were supposed to team up with one other person, it was supposed to be a three on three, and the day it was supposed to be announced, he didn’t show up.
“And I think what happened is, my guess is, he probably realized at some point that it’s really physically demanding, really hard and a lot of work. It’s probably too much commitment for someone who is a rock star of his calibre.
“Like Bad Bunny loves it and put in the time and became a good wrestler, wrestling is a lot about navigating pain, it all really hurts.”
