A WWE Hall of Famer says he got “a nice check” for WWE 2K22.
Sean Waltman has been featured in countless video games since coming into mainstream prominence as the 1-2-3 Kid in the 1990’s.
Because of a particular NWO deluxe version, Waltman was featured on the cover for WWE 2K22 alongside Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Hollywood Hulk Hogan.
In a new video with chiropractor Dr. Beau Hightower’s YouTube channel, Waltman reflected on the huge payday for the video game. When asked about the royalty checks he receives for DX and NWO, he said:
“It could always be more,”
“It depends on what it is. Got a nice check for WWE 2K22 last year. They had a special nWo one.”
Waltman continued on to claim that he was one of the wrestlers to receive shares of WWE stock when the company went public in 1999, saying:
“30,000 shares. Yeah, there was a dozen of us that got stock options,”
Sean Waltman is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer as a member of D-Generation X and the New World Order.
