A second steel cage match was announced for next week’s WWE NXT during tonight’s iteration of the show.
Velveteen Dream laid down the challenge to Roderick Strong via a vignette, and the bout was later made official.
Announced last week was Tegan Nox vs. Dakota Kai in a cage match, which prompted Dream to request the cage be left up for him and Strong.
Dream picked up the win over Strong in a standard singles match last week, but after the bell was assaulted by the Undisputed ERA who ended the show standing tall.
Nox and Kai’s clash came about following TakeOver: Portland when Raquel Gonzalez attacked Nox to gift Kai the win, with the motivation behind the cage match being that she can’t interfere this time.
