Serena Deeb Drops NWA Women’s Championship To Kamille

At AEW Double or Nothing, Serena Deeb retained her NWA Women’s Championship against Riho, but this would be the last time the former WWE star successfully defended her championship.

At the NWA When Our Shadows Fall event yesterday, Kamille successfully defeated Serena Deeb to win the NWA World Women’s title for the first time in her career.

Both Serena Deeb and Thunder Rosa appeared on AEW television while also the NWA Women’s Champion, but there has been no indication that Kamille will be continuing that trend and appearing for Tony Khan’s promotion anytime soon.

Serena Deeb is actually contracted to AEW not NWA, and it also remains to be seen whether or not she has finished working for the NWA and will just be wrestling for AEW moving forwards.

Elsewhere on the card, Nick Aldis defeated Trevor Murdoch by disqualification to retain his NWA Worlds Championship in the show’s main event.
