You may not have realised, but Seth Rollins captured his latest piece of championship gold over the weekend, winning a WWE 2k22 tournament to capture the vacant UpUpDownDown Championship.
The tournament saw Rollins, Shayna Baszler, Kofi Kingston, AJ Styles, Liv Morgan, Riddle, The Miz and Becky Lynch battling it out to become the first champion since the channel’s relaunch, with the title being vacated due to previous champion, Mia Yim, being released from the company.
Rollins defeated Riddle in the finals, in a match that 2k22 gave a four and a half star rating to. Rollins, witty as ever, quickly poked fun at the rating, claiming it to be the ‘full Meltzer rating’.
While Rollins has been rather outspoken about his indifference to Meltzer’s star ratings, he actually was part of the first WWE main roster match to earn a five star rating from Meltzer in 11 years back at Hell In A Cell.
