WWE is loading up the card for next Friday’s episode of SmackDown at Madison Square Garden, including a rematch between Seth Rollins and Edge.
This will be a rematch from SummerSlam on August 21, where Edge managed to pick up the win.
A match between Seth Rollins and Cesaro on last night’s SmackDown went to a no contest, but Rollins attacked Cesaro after the match, which is when Edge made the challenge.
Throughout the match, Rollins was doing a lot of Edge’s moves, off the back of last week when he said he needs to be more like Edge to be successful.
Also confirmed for next week is Brock Lesnar’s return, and a contract signing with Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch for their match at Extreme Rules.
WWE had also expected Sasha Banks to be ready to return for next week, but that hasn’t been announced.
