The date of Seth Rollins’ first World Heavyweight Championship defense may have just been revealed.
At WWE Night of Champions, Seth Rollins defeated AJ Styles to win the tournament to become the World Heavyweight Champion. This new title has been pushed as the workhorse championship compared to Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
On Friday, June 2, Seth Rollins took to Twitter to tease his first televised title defense. He tweeted:
About to jump on this flight to White Plains and was wondering….anyone here remember the last time the men’s Heavyweight Title was defended on an episode of #RAW?
His tweet alludes to “The Visionary” potentially making his first televised title defense on this Monday’s June 5 edition of Raw from Hartford, Connecticut.
As previously reported, Rollins is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against The Miz on this weekend’s WWE live event in White Plains, New York.
