There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the current physical state of Seth Rollins, who hasn’t taken a bump since being attacked by Brock Lesnar on Raw a couple of weeks ago.
He’s been pulled from all house show appearances until WrestleMania, and all that we really know for sure is that the injury he’s dealing with at the moment is something in his back.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE are keen to “play it safe” with Seth Rollins, as they don’t want to risk him not being able to compete at 100% come WrestleMania. It is thought that he is well enough to wrestle if needed right now, but WWE is more interested in keeping him away from the ring unless completely necessary.
The Brock vs Seth match has been the plan for several months now, and so its not surprising that the company seems very keen on keeping him out of harms way for as long as possible.
Seth does of course have history with Lesnar at WrestleMania, having successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania 31 to take Brock’s WWE Championship away from him. If rumours are to be believed, Seth could well be walking out of this year’s ‘Mania in a similar fashion.
