It’s being reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that Seth Rollins is currently planned to defend the Universal Championship against Braun Strowman on the September 15 Clash of Champions show.
It’ll be interesting how WWE goes about setting that match up considering Braun Strowman saved Seth and Ricochet from the O.C. on Raw last night.
He did take the Universal Title and gave a little hint that he has his eye on it before handing it back to Rollins though.
It’s also been confirmed that Braun has a United States Championship match against AJ Styles on Raw next week.
Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar on Sunday at SummerSlam to become Universal Champion for a second time.
