After the bizarre Backlash match was announced last week between Seth Rollins and Omos, on tonight’s WWE Raw the upcoming bout was addressed.
Seth Rollins made his typically big entrance for the delighted Chicago crowd who were enthusiastically singing his song as Raw came back from commercial break.
With Rollins addressing the newly announced WWE World Heavyweight Championship, he noted that this new Championship was meant for the people who still wanted to fight and wouldn’t be about “politics or part-timers.”
However after his passionate speech about the new title, his attention was drawn back to his first hurdle, WWE Backlash as his opponent for the premium live event.
Omos joined along with MVP to address Seth Rollins who in the end, wasn’t fearful of Omos.
Instead telling the Nigerian Giant that Rollins would do what he does best, he was going to make Omos a star, give him the best match of his career and in the end, still curb stomp him.
Assuring Omos that when he came to after losing the match, he would certainly hear all of San Juan, Puerto Rico singing Rollins’ song.
