WWE star Seth Rollins has indicated that he tested positive for COVID-19, ahead of Saturday’s WWE Day 1 pay-per-view.
Last week, it was reported that a number of WWE talents and staff had tested positive for COVID-19. A number of stars, including Rollins, were pulled from December 26 WWE Holiday Tour shows due to ‘the effects of COVID-19’.
It seems Rollins was one of the talents directly affected by the virus. Rollins took to Twitter to celebrate a ‘Merry Covid Christmas’, as well as the Chicago Bears NFL victory over the Seattle Seahawks, writing:
“Merry Covid Christmas to me!!!! I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!”

Rollins and his wife, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, were both originally advertised for WWE’s recent return to Madison Square Garden, with both scheduled to compete in steel cage bouts. Ultimately, both stars were absent from the event. It is worth noting that it hasn’t been confirmed whether or not Lynch tested positive for the virus.
Rollins is currently set to face Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley and Big E for the WWE Championship at WWE Day 1. We will provide updates on the situation as they become available.
We wish Rollins a safe and healthy recovery.
