SmackDown star Seth Rollins has reacted to “s**t” being said a couple of times during last night’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0.
The word was used a couple of times during the show, notably by Bron Breakker and Andre Chase.
This comes after it was reported that Vince McMahon wanted to make NXT 2.0 an “edgier” product, something that has clearly been attempted in the past couple of weeks.
During last night’s show, Seth Rollins tweeted:
I guess we can say s**t now. Very exciting. #s**t
Well it doesn’t quite have the same comedic impact when it’s censored, but we’re clearly not as edgy as NXT so sorry about that.
Bobby Lashley also said it during Raw this past Monday, so it seems like WWE may have become a bit more relaxed regarding explicit language, at least on its USA Network shows.
Also, speaking of Seth Rollins and edgy, it looks like Edge will be returning in time for a rematch with Rollins at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia next month.
