Seth Rollins Addresses Roman Reigns & CM Punk Match Placement On WWE WrestleMania 41 Card

Seth Rollins Addresses Roman Reigns & CM Punk Match Placement On WWE WrestleMania 41 Card WWE

Seth Rollins has addressed the placement on the card of his WWE WrestleMania 41 match with Roman Reigns and CM Punk.

As confirmed by Seth Rollins on Monday’s WWE Raw (March 17), The Visionary will be appearing on this Friday’s episode of SmackDown in Bologna, Italy (March 21) to meet Roman Reigns and CM Punk face-to-face.

While not yet confirmed by WWE, many fans expect that all three men will square off in a three-way at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Naturally given the star power involved, there has also been plenty of discussion online in regards to whether the match could also potentially main event Night One of WrestleMania 41 on Saturday, April 19, with Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena expected to main event night two.

Speaking in a new interview with Front Office Sports, Rollins dismissed the importance of when exactly the match is featured on the WrestleMania 41 card, saying:

“I don’t think it’s terribly important where it sits on the card. Because to be honest with you, you just look at the names in that match and it’s a main event. It doesn’t really matter where it sits.”

While Roman Reigns has main evented WrestleMania nine times across his career, Rollins has only done so once – that being WrestleMania 40 Night One last year where he and Cody Rhodes faced off with Reigns and The Rock in a tag team match.

CM Punk has yet to main event WrestleMania in his storied career, something that has been brought up many times since he returned to the company in late 2023.
